Thousands of people from all over Renfrewshire made it along to Barshaw Park on Saturday for Barshaw Gala Day.

Talented musicians from the McCallum School of Music and Diane Mitchell Music School wowed the crowds throughout the day.

The Street Stuff bus was on site providing football and gaming, and Community Circus Paisley offered the opportunity to learn a variety of circus skills. Paisley Rugby Football Club were also offering a chance for people to try their hand at some rugby activities.

There were a variety of stalls and food vendors on site, and the funfair and inflatables ensured there was something on offer for all ages.

The ever-popular ride-on train was also running.

Renfrewshire’s Provost Lorraine Cameron said: “Thank you so much to everyone who came along to Barshaw Gala Day.

“There was a fantastic range of activities available and it’s great to see so many people out enjoying the good weather and celebrating the local area.”
