Ms Devine shares how people in and around Paisley have shaped the future use of this building.  u3a members can find out more and ask questions at their monthly meeting.

Chair of this local self-help learning organisation, Kathy O’Donnell remarked: “Some people may have seen a model of the new museum on display in OneRen’s Lagoon Leisure Centre.  It looks impressive.  So, too, is the fact that ‘Paisley Museum Re-Imagined’ is Scotland’s largest cultural heritage project.  Our members will be interested in what suggestions have been put forward for its use.  We might offer a few ideas!”

u3a monthly meetings are held in the Salvation Army Hall, Mill Street, Paisley PA1 1ND. Doors open at 1.30pm for refreshments and the meeting starts at 2pm.

Kirsty Devine said: “It’s our ambition is to create a world-class museum space.  We can’t do that alone though and we have been working with a wide range of communities – locally and globally – over the past six years to help reimagine and redefine the museum and our collections.  I’m delighted to come and talk to u3a about this work in preparation for reopening in 2024.”
