The Creation Station Renfrewshire.

The Creation Station Renfrewshire – Paisley is pleased to announce new art activity sessions for toddlers and children (18 months – 5 years) on weekday mornings, run by Sally Martin as part of the national franchise The Creation Station.

Sally is thrilled to be able to offer these “Little Explorer” art classes in Paisley to children with any level of ability, along with the support of their parent/carer.
These award winning sessions with an educational basis are wonderfully engaging and interactive and focus on nurturing young imaginations with term time themes and a structured programme of classes. Each week the class explores a different topic related to the theme using the exciting “Magic Ideas Box”, a parachute for a quick game and a sing-a-long before getting started.

The sessions include exploring and experimenting with different art materials and there are no “rights and wrongs”, the aim is to just get stuck in and make the mess you’d rather not have at home! Splashsuits are provided to keep clothes clean and dry and all materials are non-toxic and safe to use.
The emphasis of the sessions is that there is no pressure to produce a “pretty picture” but rather that mum/dad/grandparent share the moment together with their little ones, just getting stuck in and stimulating little imaginations. It is a wonderful shared bonding experience whilst having some creative fun.
Currently, there is a class on Tuesday mornings at The Wynd Centre (off next Tuesday, back on Feb 18th) at 10am. Sally hopes to be adding a Friday class in the very near future which will be announced on the Facebook page when a second venue has been confirmed. Sessions cost £5 per child, half price for siblings. Try a class for £5 and get your 2nd class for free. Everyone is welcome and Sally would love to see lots of little Paisley artists come down and join in the fun.

The Creation Station Renfrewshire – Paisley will also be offering “Family Funs” Sessions in the holidays and they also run Arty Parties for children up to age 11 years old. For more information or to register your interest in classes please visit the Facebook page, the website or email
