Glasgow Airport welcomed more than 1,000 jobseekers on Wednesday 28 January 2026 as it hosted its annual Jobs Fair.

Held on the first floor of the main terminal, the event was ticketed-only for the first time with a high calibre of potential new employees turning up.

Glasgow Airport brought together over 30 employers from across the airport campus and associated sectors, including security, retail, facilities management, catering, ground handling and transportation.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore more than 500 full-time, part-time and seasonal roles, with recruitment teams on hand to provide insights into the wide range of positions available ahead of the busy summer season.

This year’s Jobs Fair once again demonstrated the strong interest in aviation careers and the airport’s position as a key employer and economic contributor for the region.

Gavin Birch-Williams, Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, said: “We were thrilled to welcome more than 1,000 people to this year’s Jobs Fair, our most successful event yet.

“Glasgow Airport is proud to support thousands of jobs across the region, and the fantastic turnout highlights the strong appetite for careers within aviation and our partner organisations.”

“I’d like to thank all of the businesses who took part and everyone who attended and a special thank you to the Glasgow Airport team who organised and ran the event.

“We hope to see many of today’s jobseekers become part of our vibrant airport community in the months ahead.

“We have already had some amazing feedback from our exhibitors that this was our best ever event with strong candidates attending.”

Those interested in current vacancies can continue to explore opportunities on the Glasgow Airport website and partner recruitment platforms.
