Aer Lingus Regional Expands Network from Glasgow with Service to Cork, with over 30,000 seats on offer

The newly launched service to Cork, Ireland’s second-largest city, increases the number of Aer Lingus destinations served from Glasgow to three

20th August: Glasgow – Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, announces the expansion of its services at Glasgow with the launch of its new service to Cork. 

With tickets on sale now, the Glasgow to Cork service will commence on 27 October.  This new connection with over 30,000 seats on offer will enhance accessibility and give  passengers more choices for both leisure and business travel purposes. With fares starting from £39.99

Passengers visiting Cork can immerse themselves in the city’s blend of historic charm, lively arts scene, and diverse culinary offerings. Beyond the city, Cork serves as a gateway to the picturesque countryside and stunning coastal landscapes of southern Ireland.

Glasgow to Cork:

Departs Glasgow08:25Arrives Cork10:05Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday
Departs Cork10:35Arrives Glasgow12:15Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday

The airline currently operates two popular services from Glasgow; Glasgow-Dublin with up to 4 flights and Glasgow-Belfast with up to 2 flights daily.

Commenting on the announcement, Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines said: “We’re delighted to extend our network from Glasgow Airport with the introduction of our new Cork service.
