Hundreds are expected to turn out to pay their respects to the fallen as parades are carried out in towns and villages across Renfrewshire, with services taking place to mark Remembrance Day.

On 13 November, parades will take place from 9.45am to mark Remembrance Sunday, with a two minutes silence at 11am, and all are invited to attend at the following locations:

Renfrewshire’s Provost Lorraine Cameron said: “It is important that we continue to remember the sacrifices that the members of the Armed Forces have made for us.

“Renfrewshire has a proud military tradition and the services of commemoration are a chance to recognise those who have done so much to shape past, present and future generations.

“I would encourage everyone to come along to any of the services in Renfrewshire and pay your respects.”
