Divas Soul always produce an afternoon of dancing and give you the best music, tomorrow’s gig won’t be any different. This is a free session and doors are at 1pm.
Prepare for a full evening tomorrow night of psychedelia as The Doors Rising transport you back to the 60s with their music. This band conjure up the stage presence and mysticism of Jim Morrison and are one of the best on the planet recreating the sound of The Doors. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
On Sunday afternoon The Bungalow welcome back the brilliant Black Rose who are a Thin Lizzy Tribute band to The Bungalow. It’s a free entry Sunday gig from 1pm.
Bungalaff is back on Sunday evening and the hoist as usual is Richie McMahon. John Gavin is the headliner and there are several special guests too. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
The Tuesday Bungalow Open Stage starts at 7pm. If you want to get on stage and jam or play some songs this is for you. The house band will be there to help and full backline available. Free entry. The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the popular quiz – it’s not the winning, it’s the learning.
On Thursday the Introducing Night for new emerging music features Automatic Writer, We are not Scared of Robots and BROHO. Check out what is new and current on the scene today. This is an opportunity to maybe see the next biggest thing because before bands play the Hydro they start somewhere like The Bungalow. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
The Old Swan are having a Motown night tonight with the Motown Brothers, check the venue for tickets and availability. The support act Abbey Road are on at 6pm and the show starts at 9pm. Looks like a while load of great music from this very popular singing act.
Tomorrow from 4pm Escapade take to the stage and after them Howlin Radio are on at 8pm. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller. Duncan McLellan kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday.
Bicycle Trip and support are at The Keg tonight from 9pm and tomorrow night at the same time is Black Dog Forge. Discover new or up and coming talent on Thursday at The Keg as they have another night of new emerging talent playing their original material. The session kicks off at 9pm.
Check out Kennedy’s on Sunday at 3pm as Thunder Road will be on stage pounding out some favourite rock classics and later at 4pm at The Inn on the Corner Ragamuffin will be playing followed by The Jim Kelt State Bar Blues Band who will be fronting the Inn on the Corner Jam at 8pm. The Tea Gardens have local favourites, Underwood Lane on at 6.30pm.
The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
