July 18, 2025Smokin’ At Tiffany’s has been packing them in at The Bungalow on Saturday afternoons for years and now you have an opportunity to see them doing a special evening gig of great Live Soul, Motown and Disco. Smokin’ At Tiffany’s, are a powerhouse 10-piece disco funk band, and they have been igniting dance floors and energizing events for over a decade. Renowned for their electrifying performances, this ensemble combines the dynamic talents of male and female vocalists with a live horn section featuring saxophones and trumpets. Their instrumental lineup is completed with piano, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion, delivering a rich and authentic sound that captivates audiences of all ages.

The band’s extensive experience and seamless chemistry allow them to bring a unique and unforgettable energy to every performance. From the moment they hit the stage The Bungalow will be transformed into a vibrant disco paradise with a whole load of timeless disco hits and rare gems, ensuring that the dance floor is packed and pulsating from the first note to the last.

Tomorrow there is another afternoon of Jazz, Swing and Big Band timeless tunes with the wonderful Bobby Dean’s Big Band. This is a free entry show and doors open at 1pm, with music starting from 2pm.
Tomorrow night Crowded Flat Presents have a night of some of the best up and coming bands and they are Leisureland, Torrs, Jutebox and Pinc Wafer. Check out what is hot in the local music scene and maybe find your next best favourite band. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
Tuesday Open Stage starts at 7pm. If you want to get on stage and jam or play some songs this is for you or maybe sit back with a beer and enjoy the fun. The Bungalow House Band will be there to help and full backline available. Free entry.
The Swan has The Rays on tonight at 8pm and tomorrow there will be live action at 4pm from Moonshine Mojo followed by a DJ set. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3pm, David McKellar kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday., Cammy Miller on Thursday at 5pm.
The Keg have St Mungo in tonight at 9pm and tomorrow night at the same time it will be Gordon’s Alive. The Keg Sessions start at 9pm on Thursday for more original acts and bands. This is a great opportunity be to discover new or up and coming talent. The night is full of original material and there will be two new acts on stage.
There is live action at Kennedys on Sunday this week from 3pm. The Inn on the Corner have Ragamuffin pounding out classic rock favourites also on Sunday from 4.30pm.
The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Cave from 7pm on Thursday. The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
