May 28, 2025Beyond the Ring: How to Spot Winning Opportunities in Boxing Betting
May 29, 2025Following a successful collaboration with Dead by Daylight at last month’s Horror Con Scotland, the team at Northern Frights is swapping bloodstains for battle axes in their newest partnership – this time with The Elder Scrolls Online.
Fantasy Con Scotland takes place on Saturday 7 June 2025, transforming Paisley Town Hall into a vibrant celebration of quests, dragons, and creative storytelling. While it may sound like something out of a fairytale, this event is strictly for over-18s – designed as a day of escapism for adults who need a break from the noise, stress, and sameness of the real world.

Whether you’re a lifelong fantasy fan or someone who just needs a reset, this is a chance to lose yourself in a world of magic, mayhem, and meaningful fun – no kids, no responsibilities, just a full-blown adventure where you get to be the hero, the villain, or anything in between.
Attendees can expect:
- Themed questlines delivered by roaming in-character NPCs
- Fantasy inspired photo booths, with digital images included in entry
- Take a break at the Big Feede Tavern, with fantasy food and music
- Live music and fantasy-themed shows throughout the day
- Guest appearances and signings from fantasy authors, illustrators, and indie creators
- A bustling marketplace featuring handmade props, costumes, artwork, and curiosities
- Dragon encounters, costumed characters, and immersive experiences around every corner
- Tabletop RPGs and board game taster sessions for new and experienced players
- Talks, panels, and behind-the-scenes insights from creators and industry guests
- Book readings and talks
- Sword fighting demonstrations
- A costume contest celebrating the best in fantasy fashion and character design
Special guest Troy Doherty, voice of Hermes in the viral sensation Epic: The Musical, will be in attendance for photos, autographs, meet-and-greets and a performance.
