October 28, 2022W2, Scotland’s tribute to U2, perform in the Bungalow tonight. The band played recently at a double header with Mac Muse, and this is what they said about them. “We (MacMuse) played with W2 at the Hard Rock Cafe, what a band!! If you want a U2 experience, then this is as close to the real thing as you’ll get – fab. You won’t want to miss this” Doors are at 7pm and you can get tickets for £8 on Eventbrite and on the door on the night. Support band TBC.
Mr DB return with their 2nd single launch at The Bungalow tomorrow. This band always have a busy afternoon when they play The Bungalow and the fact it is free, I would suggest you get down early if you want a seat. Doors are at 1pm.
It’s another sold out gig tomorrow night for Porkpie again. The band are absolutely at the top of their game and the next time they are in town get your tickets early or you will miss out on an amazing night.

Emerging in late 2017 by releasing a cover of Simple Plans ‘Whats New Scooby Doo’ as a Halloween joke saw them earn them over 15.5 million streams. Tonight, Rocknrollas will be filled with the sound and look of Dexys Midnight Runners by one of the best tributes to Dexy’s and they will blow your socks off. You can pay on entry and doors are at 7pm.
Tomorrow night a band that has been wowing crowds all over the country and building up a great reputation are back again to belt out the iconic tunes of Bruce Springsteen. The Rising are one of the best tributes to Springsteen anywhere on the planet. Experience a true Springsteen gig with all the raw power and harmonies you would expect from the man himself and a set list leaves nothing to the imagination. Doors are 7pm and you can get tickets on entry.
The Keg have Warren Capaldi in tonight from 9pm and according to Heather of The Keg she says “He is a guy who just loves playing music. I think he is better than his more famous sibling”
At 9pm tomorrow night it is Glasgow band Northern Holiday who bring their blend of groovy garage rock and spaced-out psychedelic swagger. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is showing on Monday from 8pm.
The Cave have a whole load of Halloween fun going on tomorrow from 6pm. Cherry Red 53 and Wreckless are providing the music, you provide the costume, and the staff provide dookin for Tenants. Jim Keilt will be on stage on Sunday from 6pm and he will be welcoming all and sundry to pop in and have a jam with him and the house band.
The Old Swan have another packed week for you starting tonight with Dirty Jewels from 7pm then tomorrow the very popular Dead Flowers are playing at 4pm followed by a Spooky Special DJ set from John and Maria. Clyde are in their usual spot at 6pm on Monday. Lee James has two shows, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday at 3pm. Duncan McLellan will be doing his ‘Humpday’ slot on Wednesday.
The Best Bad Influence will be at The Anchor tomorrow and they will be ‘Rockin’ the joint from 4.30pm and on Sunday it is the turn of Monkey Business to bang out some rock covers also from
4.30pm. Blind Panic are at Kennedys on Sunday and yet start at 3pm.
This week’s Open Mic sessions are Abbey Bar on Monday with Dunky Hunter at 8pm, Jason Flood is the host at Gantry on Tuesday from 9pm; Johnny Barr will be at The Keg on Wednesday from 8.30pm.
