February 21, 2022Introducing ‘A True Mismatch’ is an ambitious 6 part TV miniseries, written by Daniel Reynolds and Kris Scott. Two sides of the class divide collide when working class Harry Shaw has a chance encounter with the beautiful and intriguing Alice Godfrey. Following the brutal murder of a well respected factory foreman, both Harry and Alice find themselves drawn into the seedy underworld of Victorian London in order to protect those they love.
The remainder of series one will be filmed in various locations around Scotland, including Sma’ Shot Cottages in Paisley, Kilbarchan, Bridge of Weir in Renfrewshire and Dean Village in Edinburgh.
We are hoping to raise £50,000 in order to complete season one of ‘A True Mismatch’ and release it on Amazon Prime for the world to see. This funding will be used to secure locations, make unique, era appropriate costumes and of course to pay our hard working cast and crew for their efforts.
