Fathers club

WHAT A 24 HOURS…….

Good morning Ferguslie Park & all our Followers. We asked for your support & help yesterday morning to keep a community building in the hands of LOCAL PEOPLE.

The support YOU all gave was overwhelming ,as the statistics of the 24HR CONSULTATION/ELECTION will show .

This is what happens when a community COME TOGETHER , STAND TOGETHER & SPEAK AS ONE.

You have provided the Community Council with a mandate to negotiate with the Council, for the PEOPLE to retain and run, a much needed community centre for the people of Ferguslie Park ,for that WE THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

Outcome of the Ferguslie Community Councils 24 hour public consultation/election held on our Facebook page. We asked you to vote and comment on a single question….

“DO YOU AGREE THAT THE FATHERS CLUB/C.A.R.I.N.G BUILDING SHOULD BE RUN & USED BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY” YES or NO.

TOTAL VOTES CAST: 674.
YES: 674. NO: 0.

PEOPLE THE POST REACHED: 20,093

PEOPLE WHO SHARED THE POST: 242.

POST LIKES: 133.

We also increased our followers from 725 to 865 an increase of 140 .

If this isn’t people power I dont know what is.
