The SAMA Paisley Takeover is back for 2023 and started last night at The Bungalow. Tonight, they have another stellar line-up with Rebecca Vasmant Ensemble, Escher, and Nicola Taylor. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm.

Tomorrow afternoon there is a free music workshop from 3 to 5pm. The first session at 3pm is a Help Musicians ‘Get Set’ Music Funding Session. The session will guide you through the types of activities for which you can receive financial support from Help Musicians. Whether it’s recording a new album, releasing a video for a new single, learning how to use production software or getting on the road to tour. Find out common mistakes, followed by a Q&A.

At 4pm 23rd Precinct Music have an Artist development workshop hosted by Kayleigh Robin. From music publishing basics, to optimising your socials; this workshop will help solidify your understanding of royalty collection, the fundamentals of PRS, PPL & will cover different levels of career optimisation & artist development. 

Start return to The Bungalow after a phenomenal show last year and it is FREE ENTRY with doors opening at 1pm and band on at 2pm. In the evening The Marley Experience the World’s greatest sound and look alike vibe tribute to Bob Marley is back for another night of amazing Reggae. Tickets on the door rom 7pm. 

The closing event of the 2023 Tannahill Arts Festival, an upbeat poetry slam with cash prizes, compered by Tannahill Makar Shaun Moore is on Sunday from 7pm.During the event they will be announcing the 2nd Corbin Miles Award and presenting a cheque to a local songwriter chosen by none other than Boo Hewerdine. There is some music from last year’s winner, Ciaran Whyte.

The Bungalow Club starts back on Wednesday from 2pm. The free entry event is a fun and interactive afternoon for anyone to come along and enjoy. The club puts on a mix of music, comedy, magic, a quiz and much more and will change from week to week. The club will run every Wednesday from 2pm till 5pm and is free, all made possible with support from Renfrewshire Community Health and Wellbeing Fund.

On Thursday The Bungalow Introducing Night welcomes The Social, Bogle, Jodie Rae & Aine Currie for a night of some of the best emerging talent around. Doors: 7pm and tickets are £5/3.

Rocknrollas have Status No in tonight. The band are known for their hi energy show playing some of the mighty Quo’s iconic tunes and playing way more than 3 chords. Doors are 7pm and tickets are £10. Tomorrow night The Kinks Experience will be taking to a great time in the history of music playing some of the best songs ever recorded including, Lola, Sunday Afternoon, Waterloo Sunset, and You Really Got Me. Doors 7pm and tickets are £10.

There is a new band at The Old Swan tonight, and they are The Vagabonds, they kick off at 7pm. Tomorrow from 4pm it is The Dangerous Brother then on Sunday the Northern Soul starts at 4pm. Clyde are back on Monday at 6pm. Lee James will be singing on Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm. On Wednesday from 4pm it is Duncan Mclellan. 

The Caves treble this week is; tomorrow at 6pm Shuffles followed by Fire In at 9pm then on Sunday Rumours will start at 6pm. 

The ‘Loopmaster’ Graeme Kerr is at The Keg tonight from 9pm and tomorrow from 9pm it is Peely Wally. The Keg Sessions start at 9pm on Thursday when you can discover original independent artists and bands. New line up each week.

Moneypenny are at Kennedy’s on Sunday, and they start at 3pm then later at 4.30pm over at The Anchor Graceland will be on stage. 

Open Mic nights are: The Abbey at 8pm on Monday, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday and The Keg starts at 8.30pm. Have a great weekend and Keep Music Live.
