Serial Killer in Paisley

“Ye dancin’? Be very careful, who’s asking.

1968. The Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow. Rife with rhythm, romance and rumour. For lurking in its smoky shadows was a serial killer.

A Jive. A Jim. A John?

Bible John.

Set against the backdrop of the infamous Bible John murders in Glasgow 1968, the critically acclaimed drama, with a soundtrack to the 60s, “Dancing with The Devil” comes to The Wynd Centre, Paisley

Cleverly weaving a soundtrack of 60s hits, the play transports its audience back to the dancehall floor, when young lovers took to the floor, flirting and courting…with danger.

The production was honoured to receive the blessing of two of the victims’ families. Full of classic Glasgow humour and heightened drama, to recall a “night at the dancing” to keep alive the reality and the memory of this horrific time in Glasgow and to this day, as the killer still hasn’t been caught, exploring attitudes of the time, then compared to now…and if that has changed.

“An unexpected gem” The Greenock Telegraph

“Fantastic performances” Pulse Radio

“Superb vocals” West End News
