The Bungalow are having a 60s Pop and Rock night tonight. On the two-band bill is Poppermost, a Rock n Roll live trio with special Guests Hot Banana. Relive the golden age of flower power, protest songs, flares, long hair, and peace man. Doors open at 7pm and it is £6 on entry. 

Ther Marley Experience

Cosmopolitan Big Band is performing in the Bungalow tomorrow afternoon. The popular big band has a great following, and it looks to be a busy gig for this afternoon of exceptional music and fun. Tickets are £5, and with only 100 available, they will go quickly, so get to Eventbrite to get your tickets. Doors are at 7pm. This event will be mainly seated. 

The Marley Experience is back at The Bungalow once again for a night of reggae to fill your soul. is playing tomorrow night. They are most definitely the ultimate Bob Marley Tribute right from the heart of the UK. The band give you all the hits’ classics and sing-alongs like, One Love, Three Little Birds, No Woman no Cry, Iron Lion Zion, I Shot the Sheriff, Get up Stand Up and many more.
The Marley Experience totally give you a show that looks and sounds like the real thing as they pay tribute to the originator and undisputed King of Reggae, Bob Marley. It is £15 entry and doors are 7pm. 

On Sunday the Open Stage starts at 3pm with doors at 1pm and at night it is rock time with a three-band line up of Rock and Metal bands – Dolarhyde + Medusa Touch and Wildfire. You can get tickets on the door, and they open at 7pm. 

Thursday’s Introducing Night line-up includes Ivory Saints, Not Now Norman, Brother Moon and Waves in The Water performing from 8pm. Doors are 7pm and tickets are £5/3 for students. 

Many Paisley Punk fans were looking forward to the Sham 69 gig at Rocknrollas on Saturday, unfortunately it has been cancelled. Boab Williamson of Rocknrollas explained: “I opened an email to discover one from Sham 69s management team to advise us that JP has caught Covid. We obviously wish Jimmy all the best and hope he feels better soon. We are working with the management team just now for a rescheduled date and will announce asap”

It has been a bit of a blow but there is still plenty going at Rocknrollas starting with Purple Hearts tonightPurple Hearts are an English mod revival band, formed in 1977 in Romford, eastern Greater London. They were often considered one of the best English mod revival groups and the NME called them “one of the few mod bands to actually cut it on rock ‘n’ roll terms” This is great for the town who have a huge mod subculture following. The Laynes and Parliament of Owls two local bands are supporting. Doors at 7pm and you can pay on entry.  Sticks and Stones are playing on Sunday, doors are 2pm.

The Old Swan has Duncan Mclellan on tonight from 7pm, tomorrow Audiorayz from 4pm, Sunday the Northern Soul DJs will be supporting SHOUT and it kicks off at3pm. Clyde are back on Monday from 5pm and Lee James will be performing on Tuesday and Thursday at 3pm.

This weekend at The Cave is Lola Fierce drag queen, comedian singer and host with her Fierce and Fabulous show tonight at 9pm, tomorrow, Vintage Vinyl at 6pm followed by Wildcard at 9pm and on Sunday it is Black Triangles from 6pm. 

 

Sunday Sesh at Kennedys this week is Rumours from 3pm. The Keg has Mya Brown, Paisley’s Young Artist of the Year in tonight from 9pm and at the same time tomorrow it is Black Dog Forge. This week’s Open Mic sessions are Abbey Bar on Monday with Dunky Hunter at 8pm, Jason Flood is hosting at Gantry on Tuesday from 9pm, Johnny Barr will be at The Keg from 8.30pm.
