October 23, 2018Fun-loving revellers are being given the chance to swing into Christmas at three party nights.
The first evening of festive entertainment, on Friday, December 14, at Johnstone Town Hall, starts with a red carpet entrance, a glass of bubbly, a delicious three-course meal and live entertainment from the popular Singer Swingers tribute group.
The boys in the band will be singing and dancing their way through favourites from the Rat Pack and other swing music legends.
The following night at the same venue, entertainment is from five-piece party band, Dizzy Heights, playing songs from the 50s to today chart hits.
A third festive party is being held in Linwood’s Tweedie Hall, featuring Scotland’s top Take That tribute band, followed by a disco, on Friday, December 21.
The Christmas Party Nights are organised by Renfrewshire Leisure and unless you’re getting up for a dance you won’t have to leave your seat as there is table service to bring drinks to you.
Joyce McKellar, chief executive of Renfrewshire Leisure said: “Our Party Nights are a great way of getting into the spirit of Christmas and if previous years are anything to go by, everyone will have lots of fun.
“It’s ideal for a works Christmas night out or for family and friends to get together in the run-up to Christmas.”
People booking before October 31 – by logging on to www.renfrewshireleisure.com or by phoning 0300 300 1210 – will get a special rate of £27 per ticket. After this date the ticket price is £30.
