Paisley is the place to be this summer – free fun for all the family!

As part of the Paisley First Summer Festival of Fun 2017, there will be everything from children’s entertainers, live music and story-telling taking place at County Square starting this Saturday, 8th July from 10.30am until 5pm.

As part of the Paisley First Summer Festival of Fun 2017, there will be everything from children’s entertainers, live music and story-telling taking place at County Square starting this Saturday, 8th July from 10.30am until 5pm.

This Saturday, from 10.30am until 12.30pm, Cheeko the Clown will be entertaining kids of all ages with balloons galore and more than a few tricks up his sleeve!

From 1.30pm until 3pm, Paisley band The Spuds will be providing music to our ears.

And if that wasn’t enough, there will be a children’s DJ and disco for those who just want to dance dance dance – from 3pm to 5pm!

Buddie the Paisley Lion, Paisley First’s mascot, is also planning to make an appearance!

So if you want some free family entertainment while shopping or popping into town for lunch, head to Paisley this Saturday.

You can also check out the Paisley First murals – with the fantastic artworks now at Johnston Street, Lady Lane, Lawn Street and Storie Street.

Plus you can see the fabulous artwork in progress by local artist Caroline Gormley and Sandy Guy at Paisley Gilmour Street Railway station – what a welcome to Paisley!

There’s also still time to enter our fabulous contest – Paisley’s Got Talent!

We have had loads of entries already but there’s still time for more, headto http://www.paisleyfirst.com/projects/paisleys-got-talent/ for more details.

Entries can be made by individuals or groups and can include comedians, singers, dancers, magicians and anything else you believe is a special talent you want to share!

The first heat will be taking place on Saturday 15th July at 1.30pm in the town’s County Square with further heats taking place on Saturday 29th July and Saturday 12th August 2017.

The Grand Final will be on Saturday 26th August 2017 with cash prizes to be won!
