ACCORD HOSPICE ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION 2025 RETURNS TO THE ART DEPARTMENT
February 21, 2025Bobby Deans Big Band will be blasting out some classic Swing, Jazz and Big Band favourites tomorrow afternoon, Doors are at 1pm and it is a free entry gig.
Maiden Scotland are one of Europe’s longest running and established tributes to British Heavy Metal Legends Iron Maiden. Formed in 2003 and now in their 21st year, Maiden Scotland feature 5 musicians at the top of their game and who know who an Iron Maiden tribute should sound. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Martin Jakubski who has the range and power to recreate Bruce Dickinson’s classic powerhouse vocals.

Covering all the classics such as Run to the Hills, Fear of the Dark and The Trooper but also delving deeper into the back catalogue performing songs rarely and never played live by Iron Maiden. A Maiden Scotland gig is a full-on rock show, and the focus is on performance and music rather than ill-fitting wigs. Whether you are a hard-core fan of Iron Maiden or a casual rock listener you will find something to enjoy at a Maiden Scotland show. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm tomorrow night.
Your host Richie McMahon returns for the ‘Bungalaffs’ first show of 2025 on Sunday evening. Robin Grainger heads up a night of comedy with special guests. Ticket are on the door from 7pm.
Join Refractive for a screening of music documentary film on Monday night, Angelheaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan & T Rex by Director Ethan Silverman. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm.
For only £3 entry you can join in with the regular and very popular, jam and paint session! Art supplies are included to use on the night. On stage will be a host of performers have a jam and entertaining everyone. Doors are at 7pm.
Bungalow Introducing Night on Thursday features Eagerman, Neeba and Justine Beverley. Tickets are on the door from 7pm.
The Keg have the very talented St Mungo in tonight from 9pmm and tomorrow night at the same time it will be Black Dog Forge. The Keg Sessions start at 9pm on Thursday for more original acts and bands.
The Swan have Small Town Sound on tonight from 8pm and tomorrow Swan Rocks kicks off. As far as I know tickets have all been sold, maybe worth it asking if you there are any hand-backs. are afternoon Moonshine Mojo will kick off at 4pm. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song show on Tuesday at 3pm Duncan Carlyle kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday and Raymond McSherry will be rocking it out at 3pm on Thursday.
The Cave’s line up this week is Gallus Monkey at 5pm followed by Kong at 8pm. Rock Therapy will be playing at 6pm on Sunday. There will be a live band at Kennedys on Sunday from 3pm and at The Inn on the Corner Jim Keilt’s jam session starts at 8pm.
The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Cave from 7pm on Thursday. The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
