The Brass Monkeys return to The Bungalow tonight. This is a big band with a twist from Glasgow, featuring Lesley Ward on vocals with occasional vocal cameos. This is a free gig and doors are 7pm.  

The very popular Smokin’ at Tiffany’s are back again to The Bungalow tomorrow. This amazing 11-piece Funk and Soul band will have you on your feet all afternoon. If you want a seat, get in early at 1pm. This is a free gig. 

Esperanza returns to The Bungalow with friends RudeBeard for a SKAtastic night of live music and dancing tomorrow night. Esperanza is a nine-piece ska collective from Glasgow famed for live shows where their infectious rhythm has the crowd involuntarily jumping in time. The band have supported some of the biggest names in ska, including Toots and the Maytals, The Skatalites, Bad Manners, The Beat, The Heptones and The Toasters. Rudebeard were formed at the end of 2018, and they specialise in energetic, sweaty, sweary, usually loud and occasionally thoughtful ska- punk, fast ska, slow ska, ska that’s not really ska and one attempted Scottish fitba anthem cos why no? Two years, five EPs & one pandemic later they have accrued a back catalogue larger than you should reasonably expect and they herein present it to you for your aural delectation. Tickets on the door from 7pm. 

How about a lazy Sunday afternoon? The Bungalow are putting on a free gig with Itchycoo Park on Sunday. They play music all the big hits from the 60’s and beyond – featuring The Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Hollies and more. Doors are 1pm. 

Sunday is Bungalaff time with another another night of the very best stand-up comedy from headliner Chris Forbes along with: Kyle Samuel, Mick Mac, Jimi Longmuir, Tasha Mott, Cubby, Al Thompson, Tom Kennedy, Ray Kohli, and Brian Kavanagh. Hosted as always by Richie McMahon. Tickets on the door from 7pm. 

Join The Bungalow Crew on Tuesday for the Bungalow Jam Open Stage. The Jam House Band will be there to entertain you and to help any performers that want a bit of backing or simply a fun jam. All backline and drumkit is provided just bring your instrument. Starts at 7pm. 

The Bungalow are excited to welcome Automatic Writer, The Belvideres and The Core on Thursday for another introducing Night featuring the best in new emerging talent. Tickets £5/3 student. Doors are 7pm.

The line up for The Cave this weekend looks like this: Saturday – 5pm – Cherry Red 53 and 8pm – Screaming Velvet, Sunday – 7pm – Jim Keilt Blues Jam.

The Beagles are at The Old Swan tonight from 8pm. The Dirty Jewels are on tomorrow from 4pm. Crawford Carlyle is paying on Monday from 4pm, Lee James is in his usual double slot on Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm and Duncan McLellan performs on Wednesday from 4pm. 

The Keg has The Highway Chile in tonight from 9pm Rebound tomorrow night from 9pm. The Keg Sessions are happening again on Thursday from 9pm. This is an originals night and showcases young and new talent performing their new songs and testing the water with their latest work. 

There is live action at Kennedy’s on Sunday from 3pm and later Blind Panik are at The Inn on the Corner from 4.30pm.

Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm and The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm. And finally, a wee heads up.
