Residents and business owners are being encouraged to provide their feedback on a transport project between Paisley town centre and the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS).

The AMIDS South project sets out proposals for a route along Abercorn Street and Harbour Road to Inchinnan Road, with a road bridge crossing the White Cart river.

It also includes a link road from Renfrew Road to the bridge crossing with cycling and walking provision along all routes extending into Gallowhill.

It’s being developed to better connect communities to work and job opportunities, studies and leisure, encourage walking and cycling and enable business opportunities and growth along the river.

Today (Tuesday 5 April 2022) an online survey opens to gather feedback on the proposals ahead of a planning application being submitted this summer.

The short survey takes five minutes to complete and is open until Tuesday 3 May 2022.

It is available to access on the Renfrewshire Council website at https://www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/transport-links-amids-south-paisley
