Hello!! I hope everyone is keeping safe but enjoying a little more freedom since our last newsletter!

I absolutely have, I’ve enjoyed a bit of time with some friends, been back to the gym and been for an early morning dip in the sea so I’m happy!

As we are slowly able to start mixing again, I am definitely feeling the love and appreciating the people in my life more than anything else. Being around the people that matter to me is what I have missed the most. Remember our ‘happiness is where your people are’ t-shirts are available to shop, in a range of sizes, on our site so why not share your appreciation by buying one as a gift for your bestie to show how much they mean to you!

What’s happening this month

At Kalka we always appreciate the feedback we receive, and we want to be constantly creating item’s that our customers truly love to wear and buy. Recently, we have had quite a few requests and enquiries about kids wear so I am pleased to let you in on a secret that we are now in the

process of working on some sample garments for all the little people in our life! My own son Alex is loving wearing our samples and putting them to the test out playing, and he is desperate to model some of the new pieces for you, so you will no doubt see his face on our socials a lot over the next few months!

Whats new

This leads me nicely onto my next bit of exciting news! Until now, we have been extremely limited to what photos and content we can put out to our customers and supporters due to lockdown. But now, we are getting excited about doing our first ever Kalka photoshoot!

photoWe aim to do most of our photos on locations around Scotland and are keen to capture the beauty of the places nearby as well as showcasing our products, so we have our photographer, models and stylist desperate to get out and get some amazing shots to share with you that will complement and re-enforce our brand identity – keep your eyes peeled!

Last month we launched our limited-edition collection to celebrate world earth day and I was blown away with the number of orders and the amount of amazing feedback we got from this! So, we have decided to do a similar mini collection to celebrate World Bee Day this month!! Who doesn’t love bees!? We will continue to giveaway our wildflower scatter seeds with every order placed (not just the bee collection!) And will also donate 20% of our profits to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. We love that you guys get behind these collections and love to help!! I hope that our new bee collection will be just as well received!

That’s all our goss from Kalka for this month but as always, thank you for your continued support and I hope you all have a safe, sunny, and spectacular May!!
