Chairman of Paisley Community Trust, Gary Kerr said “Our Community Trust has been going from strength to strength. We are at a pivotal phase of producing the outline business case for the Baker Street project. We knew it was vitally important to expand the knowledge, skill set, experience and diversity of our Board. We advertised and we were overwhelmed with the high number of quality applications.”
“We met with many applicants and wanted to understand their motivations, what value they could add and most importantly their passion for improving Paisley and providing opportunity to our communities.”
“We are delighted to announce the six new additions to our Board taking the total number to 9. Our board now covers a broad spectrum of backgrounds, skills and experience and all will play a vital role in delivering the Baker Street Project. Over the next few weeks we will be introducing our new board through our social media channels and to our members. Please do join us in welcoming them to Paisley Community Trust.”
New trustee Shannan Flockhart said “I am a born and raised Paisley buddie and I’m passionate about the future of the town. Most importantly I am really interested in involving the youth in the growth and development of the town centre. I’m only out of High School a couple of years and studying design at the Glasgow School of Art and I want to do my bit to improve our communities and town for all. Excited to be part of Paisley Community Trust!”
