A campaign called ‘What’s Our Story?’ has been launched asking locals, ex-pats and anyone else with a connection to the region to get involved.

Those taking part can also share their ideas for potential cultural events they’d like to see staged if Paisley is successful in its bid to be UK City of Culture 2021.

In-depth interviews will take place with more than 30 of Renfrewshire’s most prominent leaders from the private, public and academic sectors.

Feedback from the six-week campaign will inform a new destination brand for Paisley and Renfrewshire to be launched later this year. The brand will be used to market Paisley and Renfrewshire at home and abroad and compete for visitors and inward investment.

Stories can be submitted at  WhatsOurStory.co.uk or shared on social media using #MyStoryMyTown.
