Kilbarchan AAC’s Oliver Patton named Scottish Athletics U20 Athlete of the Year

Kilbarchan Amateur Athletic Club athlete Oliver Patton was named Scottish Athletics Under-20 Athlete of the Year for the 2025 season following an outstanding year on the track.

Oliver secured the British Under-20 1500m title during the 2025 season, a performance that earned him automatic selection for the Great Britain team at the European Under-20 Championships in Tampere, Finland.

The national title and international selection were recognised by Scottish Athletics at the Scottish Athletics and jogscotland Annual Awards, where Oliver received the Under-20 Athlete of the Year honour.

Oliver, who is now competing in the under-23 age group, is listed with Kilbarchan AAC and Oklahoma State University, where he continues his athletic development alongside his studies.
