Paisley Food and Drink Festival returns next weekend with a supersized celebration
April 18, 2025Scottish indie favourites VIDA are back on the road to promote the release of their long-awaited new single which was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. They will be performing the song “All My Life” as well as some classics on their upcoming Scottish tour. You can get tickets on the door tonight from 7pm.
The Divas Soul Band return for another Saturday afternoon session. It is free entry and doors open at 1pm. Get in early to get a seat.

1970s British pop music group The Chords commonly associated with the 1970s mod revival are at The Bungalow tomorrow night. The band had several hits in their homeland, before the decline of the trend brought about their break-up. They were one of the more successful groups to emerge during the revival. Now they have re-formed with the four original members and are on a UK tour. You can get tickets on the door rom 7pm.
Ganked return to The Bungalow with a Sunday Live Session on Easter Sunday. The gig is free and doors open at 1pm.
As always, the Bungalow Tuesday Jam and Open Stage starts at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to perform on stage, jam or sit back and listen. It is free entry.

Pai-Slay returns for a night of bingo, performances and prizes on Thursday from 7pm. Join October Fist and Bonnie Banks for more outrageous fun as they celebrate Easter in style.
Venue – Paisley has psychic medium Carol McGee live tomorrow. The show is sold out, but you might find a few hand backs on her website.
The Cave have a double bill tomorrow in the shape of Underdog at 5pm followed by Wreckless at 8pm. Then get ready for another live fest of rock because it is that time of year for another Bands for Malawi Day. This year features all your favourite rock covers bands, and the line up looks like this: Trunk Monkey 2pm, Filthy White Suit 3pm, Sad Ida 4pm, Underwood Lane 5.30pm, Canyon 6.30pm and finishing of this annual music feast is Wreckless at 7.30pm.
The funds raised go towards building and improving school facilities in Malawi. The charity works with priority schools in Malawi to provide young people with the opportunity to attend school in a safe, clean and friendly learning environment. Some of the organisers and volunteers have given up their time to go to Malawi to build classrooms and social facilities.
The Keg have Mark McMillan in tonight at 9pm and tomorrow night at the same time it will be Howlin’ Radio. The Keg Sessions start at 9pm on Thursday for more original acts and bands.
Graeme Kerr will be at The Old Swan this afternoon from 3.30pm and after that it is Earl Blue from 8pm. Tomorrow there will be live action from 4pm with Distant Echo. The Sunday Soul Club starts at the later time of 6pm this weekend as The Square Go’s will be on stage from 3pm. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3pm and Thursday at 5.30pm, Duncan McLellan kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday.
Playing at Kennedys Sunday’s regular live session this week is Blind Panik who will be pounding out some well-known rock, blues favourites from 3pm. The Inn on the Corner have the very popular Ragamuffin playing tomorrow at 4.30pm.
The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Cave from 7pm on Thursday. The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
