Them and Us, a tribute to Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac, is at The Bungalow tonight. The band start of with a Pink Floyd set including Great Gig in the Sky, Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon and then Prog Rock favourites launch into party mode with songs from Fleetwood Mac such as Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Landslide and many more. Tickets will be on the door from 7pm. 

The Bobby Deans Big Band are back again tomorrow afternoon. The band plays a range of jazz, swing, and contemporary songs and maybe a wee Christmas number? Get in early as this is always a busy one. Doors are 1pm. 

NNE have a great line up tomorrow night. It’s a Christmas Northern Soul and Motown Extravaganza as Republic of Soul, an eight-piece Soul band from Glasgow, set the venue ablaze with their fabulous repertoire of floor fillers ably supported on the night by the brilliant Lemon Soul, this is going to be a soul Christmas Cracker.

Before and after the live bands, Club Soul – an Audio and Visual Northern Soul fest – with wall-to-wall Northern Soul classics from artists like Al Wilson, Ann Sexton, Archie Bell and The Drells, The Imperials, Martha Reeves an and The Vandellas, PP Arnold and much more….. This is a soul night not to be missed, both bands are amazing, I suggest grabbing your tickets quickly for this one before it’s too late. Doors are 7pm. 

On Sunday morning at 11am The Bungalow will be packed with kids singing along to Frozen. It looks like a sellout, but you might be lucky by checking the Facebook events section. 

The very popular Smokin’ at Tiffanys are playing a blistering set on Sunday afternoon. Get in early a get a seat. It’s free entry and doors are 3pm. Straight after the band it is time for comedy as Ground Zero a Comedy Open Mic is on. Doors are 7pm. 

The Bungalow’s Introducing Night on Thursday feature Lyrical Incorporated, Townsman and Dean Mack. Tickets £5/3 students, doors 7pm.

Rocknrollas have Rockabilly legends Polecats on tonight. In 1980 the band signed to Mercury Records, and released their most successful LP, Polecats Are Go and they had UK chart success with a David Bowie cover “John, I’m Only Dancing”. Support is Wild Devils and Best Bad Influence. Paul Riley of Winston fame from Still Game is on tomorrow night. Check venue for details. 

Crackerman are at the Old Swan tonight from 7pm and tomorrow afternoon from 4pm The Dangerous Brothers will be pounding out some classic rock. The Song and Dance Factory will be playing at the annual Christmas Part on Sunday. Contact venue for tickets on 0141 562 0908. Rig hater that is the Sunday Northern Soul Club from 4pm. Gerry Kirk is on stage from 4pm on Monday, Lee James is in his usual double slot at 3pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Duncan McLellan will be there on Wednesday to help you get over ‘the hump’.

The Cave have Bits n Pieces in tonight from 8pm and tomorrow at 5pm it is the very talented Lynsey Dolan Band then straight after them at 8pm it is Cherry Red 53. The Splendid Suns finish a great weekend of live music at 6pm on Sunday.  The Keg have the talented Graeme Kerr ‘Loop Master’ in tonight from 9pm. Tomorrow night at 9pm Peely Wally makes another trip to Paisley to play from The Keg faithful. The Keg Sessions as usual kicks off at 9pm for original bands and artists. 

Wreckless are at Kennedy’s on Sunday from 3pm and starting at 4.30pm at The Inn on the Corner it is the mighty Graceland.  

Open Mic sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and Cottons in Renfrew starts at 2pm on Sunday.
