Tonight, The Bungalow have two great live bands for you, and they are The Dughhoose Ska Band and a UB40 tribute band One in Ten. For a night of bouncing music and dancing get your tickets on the door from 7pm.

Silver Threads is a unique collection of songs, some old, some new, inspired by the rich history, culture and people of Paisley. Presented by buddies Evelyn Laurie and Neil Thomson, who have contributed original songs to the set and supported by two additional musicians. Doors open 1pm. Free entry. Straight after that there is the annual Sma’ Shot Poetry Slam and Spoken Word with Shaun Moore (Paisley Makar) From 4pm. Free entry.

The Jive Aces are returning to The Bungalow again for another great show. The six-piece UK-based, swing band were Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists in 2012. They have released 11 albums, as well as compilations, EPs and singles and have performed at numerous music festivals.

Renowned worldwide for their high-energy spectacular showmanship, their viral video “Bring Me Sunshine” and for being the first live band to reach the final rounds of “Britain’s Got Talent”, The Jive Aces have firmly established themselves the UK’s No.1 Jive & Swing band. 

The in-demand band have worked with Van Morrison, Keely Smith and performed for HM the Queen. They headlined and sold-out the Royal Albert Hall and thousands of festivals, theatres, dance halls, etc, in 35 countries, including Buckingham Palace for the Coronation Festival, Trafalgar Square for the Olympics and major theatre tours in the USA. 

Their performance at the 2015 Glastonbury Festival was listed by the “Daily Telegraph” as one of the festival’s highlights. Tickets on the door from 7pm. 

Tuesday Night Jam is when people can take to the Bungalow stage to perform their favourite songs or Jam with fellow musicians. Free entry and starts at 7pm. Why not come along and get your groove on while networking and collaborating with some local musicians. The Bungalow Club starts at 2pm on Wednesday for more Music, Magic, a Quiz and Jam Session. Late on from 7pm is The Bungalow Karaoke Night.

The Bungalow are excited to welcome The Blonde Parade, Leonard the Rabbit and Paul Muirhead to the stage for their Introducing Night on Thursday. Doors: 7pm and tickets: are £5/3 Students.

American Soul Artist, Darnell Cole, Traveling on his ” Soul Funkin’ Wicked ” Tour, brings with him a Vibe of Roots rock and Blues reminiscent of the sounds of Jimi Hendrix meets Sly And The Family Stone! This is music one mustn’t just hear, but experience. Tickets on the door from 7.30pm. 

The Old Swan have Stephen Henry playing in the garden stage tonight from 6pm while inside from 7pm it is Canyon. Tomorrow soul DJs John and Maria are spinning discs from 3pm in the garden stage and inside is The Distance from 4pm. Soul Sunday is at the usual time of 4pm. On Monday Clyde start at 6pm, Tuesday there is live music from Lee James 3pm and Thursday at 3pm. Duncan McLellan as always kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday. 

Small Town Sound who are Raymond McSherry and John Watt of FreeSpeech are at The Keg tonight from 9pm and tomorrow night at the same time it is Jamie Angus. On Thursday from 9pm The Keg Sessions continue with a lineup of original artists.  

Ruff Edge are playing at Kennedy’s on Sunday from 4.30pm and over at The Anchor from 4.30pm is Rumours.

Tomorrow night at The Cave from 5pm is Cranked to 11 who will be doing just that and later at 8pm it is Filthy White Suit. On Sunday it is the highly acclaimed Nightfly from 6pm.

Open Mic sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Keg on Wednesday starts at 8.30pm and Cottons in Renfrew starts at 2pm on Sunday. Have a great weekend and Keep Music Live.
