Radio Pachuco originally began life as a classic swing and jazz band. Inspired by the internet sensation Postmodern Jukebox, Radio Pachuco have now created covers and new arrangements of many modern songs using a vintage swing style. The Old World News play ‘Tipsy Swing’ – all the songs you know in a vintage swing style; imagine ‘Toxic’ by Britney Spears was written in 1940’s Paris. Tickets on the door from 7pm.

The Divas Soul Band are playing The Bungalow for the first time tomorrow afternoon. The band put on a great show, and they sound amazing. Settle down and have a listen to hits from the likes of – Al Green – Stevie Wonder – Wild Cherry – Amy Winehouse – Aretha Franklin – Barry White and more. Doors are 1pm, its free entry and get in early for a seat. 

Wrong Jovi return to The Bungalow for ‘One Wild Night’ of Greatest Hits, Live Favourites and Rarities. Wrong Jovi are the The Best Bon Jovi Tribute Band in The World as described by tribute band expert (Channel 4’s The Convention Crasher) and TV celebrity Justin Lee-Collins. You can get tickets at the door from 7pm. 

When BBC radio and TV legend, Whispering Bob Harris first discovered Mississippi Delta songbird Bronwynne Brent and she became his ‘fave rave,’ her arrival on these shores got off to a dream start. After her first run of live dates, the circuit turned white hot with excitement, she won an invitation to appear at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival, and on her second UK tour, began packing them in. She carried off the Female Vocalist of The Year award in the annual Readers’ Poll at Americana UK. “A voice that is timeless in timbre and phrasing, recalling in turn Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee and Amy Winehouse” – David Innes, RnR magazine You can get tickets on the door from 7pm. 

Wednesday sees the return of a hybrid art/ music open mic night ‘Paint and a Pint. Come sing, draw, see a band, maybe buy some art, and get a drink. Tickets on the door from 7pm. 

The Bungalow continue with their Introducing Night on Thursday with Dallas Love Field, Maudlin Dog and Diving Horse. Doors: 7pm, tickets: £5/3 students.

Rocknrollas have Synth Britannia a Human League tribute in tonight. As support 80s club DJ Boab Williamson will be spinning an eclectic mix of 80s classics. Tickets on the door from 7pm.

Paul Thorpe brings his Elvis show back to Rocknrollas again tomorrow night, doors are 7pm. Czech electronic metal stars Alia Tempora returns to the UK in support of their new album, and they are playing at Rocknrollas on Sunday. Doors are 8pm. 

Kennedy’s have the long-standing local legends Blind Panik playing on Sunday from 3pm and over at The Anchor Ragamuffins start at 4.30pm.

The Cave’s double bill tomorrow starts with Headhunters at 5pm followed by a band TBC at 7pm. Finishing off the weekend on Sunday is Amused Owls from 6pm.  

The Old Swan have The Festivals in tonight from 7pm tonight and tomorrow at 4pm Republic of Soul hit the stage with their long-awaited return to one of their favourite venues. Later, at 8pm Addiction will take you late into the night with more live action. The Sunday Northern Soul Session starts at 4pm. Clyde will be playing from 6pm on Monday. Lee James will be performing on Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm and Duncan McLellan is in his usual slot at 4pm on Wednesday. Johnny Barr is at The Keg tonight from 9pm and at 9pm tomorrow night it is Clyde.
