The Enforcers are at The Old Swan tonight from 7pm and in the ‘Shoppers’ Slot tomorrow from 4pm it is Gordon’s Alive followed by a DJ. If you are wondering why the legendary slot at 4pm at The Old Swan is called the ‘Shoppers Slot’. It came from an advert they posted years ago which said “Ladies. Drop off your husband here and we will look after him. Just give him some money for a few pints and pick him up after you are finished the shopping” Things have changed since then and when I was in The Old Swan last week It looks like the women are the ones having a wee gin while waiting on the men finish the shopping.
