Here’s the publicity blurb if required:
“This summer, the staff and pupils at Trinity High School are proud to present their production of the Rodger and Hammerstein’s much loved musical smash hit, The Sound of Music. The production is the fruit of ten months of hard work and labour, with daily after-school rehearsals becoming the norm for those involved. The result is a finely choreographed and highly entertaining revival of the Broadway musical hit.
All involved are eagerly awaiting the chance finally to take to the stage and put on the show. For the many Sixth Year students involved, it marks a fitting and deserved conclusion to their time at the school.
The show will be produced by Miss Catriona Duggan, English Teacher and producer of the school’s highly successful and much lauded rendition in 2013 of West Side Story. Miss Duggan’s own playscript Things Change also featured in the Progressive Playwright Award finals at Tron Theatre in September last year.”
