Leading homebuilder, Miller Homes is supporting 12 new community groups across the West of Scotland with its Community Fund initiative, including Loud n Proud, a youth music charity in Paisley.

Miller Homes’ Community Fund, which is now in its second year and third round of funding, invites applications for funding from charities and community groups across the country. Loud n Proud has been at the forefront of the development of young musicians and bands in Scotland and is set to receive £500 from the homebuilder.
Miller Homes has supported 196 groups across the UK through its Community Fund initiative.

Tommy McGrory, Manager at Loud n Proud, Paisley is delighted with the funding. He said: “We’re a youth music charity at the heart of our Paisley community, doing our best to make an impact on young people’s confidence, social practice, concentration, creativity, and general outlook on life by encouraging people to achieve their dreams.

“Miller Homes’ generosity will help us equip the recording rooms, allowing young people to get the opportunity to professionally produce their music and give podcast recording a go. Our vision is to build a music hub that can help young people into employment within the music industry, and we’re thankful for the funding from our local homebuilder in Paisley.”

Louise Caldwell, Sales Director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said: “We are passionate about supporting the communities we’re building in, and our Community Fund initiative has made a real difference since its inception. We have seen a wide variety of groups applying for funding this time, and it has been rewarding to support Loud n Proud through this round.”
