Anyone wanting a good laugh will enjoy Paisley & District u3a’s New Year meeting.  Gryffe Valley Rotary Club member, Alan Watt brings a cheery start to 2023 with a revealing talk about top comedians in Glasgow.  The public are welcome to come and enjoy refreshments on Thursday 5 January.  Doors open 1.30pm for a 2pm start in the Salvation Army Hall, Mill Street, Paisley PA1 1ND. 

u3a chair, Kathy O’Donnell said: “ The cream of comedy talent has appeared in Glasgow venues.  We look forward to hearing some interesting tales shared by our guest speaker, Alan Watt.  His presentation on popular comedians is bound to deliver plenty of laughs.” 

Rotarian Alan Watt said: “My talk covers several behind the scenes stories relating to some of our well-known comedians.  These will include Rikki Fulton, Johnny Beattie, Billy Connolly, Ken Dodd and Bob Monkhouse.  I will reveal lots more on the day.”
