SANTA’S bringing a ho-ho-whole lot of fun to Braehead Centre in the run-up to Christmas.

Rudolph will be parking the sleigh on the Braehead boardwalk on the banks of the River Clyde, as that’s where all the festive fun takes place this year from tomorrow/today (Thurs November 11) until Christmas Eve, between 11am and 7pm every day.

Santa will be in his Grotto at the end of a fairy-light pathway and he’s getting ready to meet the children, hear what they want for Christmas and hand them a special gift.

There will also be a funfair on the boardwalk with lots of exciting rides; a Christmas market featuring all kinds of stalls; buskers; an undercover bar and the Vinci Café for the grown-ups to enjoy.

The Vinci Café will be serving everyone’s festive food including burgers, German sausage, hot dogs, Dirty Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Dirty Fries and for dessert, hot waffles with a variety of tasty toppings.

And before you even get to the boardwalk from the lower mall food court, youngsters can enjoy a ride on Santa’s Christmas Train, which is running indoors near the Yo! Sushi restaurant.

Entry to the boardwalk is free and all stalls and funfair rides accept both cash and card.

And you can give your child some magical memories by booking their place to meet Santa in his Grotto at www.braehead.co.uk/christmas.

Peter Beagley, Braehead’s centre director said: “We all missed out on our usual Christmas fun last year because of the coronavirus restrictions, but we’re back with a bang to make up for it this year.

“We’ve got all the Christmas you want at Braehead and we can’t wait to see the excitement on the children’s faces when they meet Santa in his grotto and enjoy all the fun of the festive funfair.

“So let’s make up for last year and meet up with family and friends and have a real Merry Christmas at Braehead.”
