January 4, 2018Renfrewshire’s hearing aid users are being invited to give themselves a better chance to hear in the New Year by attending a charity’s support sessions during January.
Action on Hearing Loss Scotland’s audiology-trained Hear to Help volunteers clean and re-tube NHS hearing aid and provide new batteries to help local people to follow conversations with their family and friends.
The first Renfrewshire drop-in sessions of 2018 take place in:
- Renfrew Library, 10am-12noon on Thursday 18 January
- Glenpark Road Sheltered Housing, Lochwinnoch, 10am-12noon on Friday 19 January
- Bridge Community Café, Bridge of Weir, 1-2.30pm on Friday 19 January
- Erskine Library, 10am-12noon on Friday 26 January
Hear to Help Coordinator, Lainey McFarlane, says: “We’ll be delighted to welcome people to our upcoming drop-in sessions in Renfrew, Lochwinnoch, Bridge of Weir and Erskine, where our wonderful volunteers can adjust and re-tube your NHS hearing aids to be more comfortable and help you hear more clearly.”
