When it comes to decorating or renovating your beloved home, we are all aware that it can cost a lot of money. However, there are some little tips and tricks that can help keep the costs down, whilst still getting the same end result.

To begin with, let’s start in the kitchen. It could be said that the kitchen is the most important room in the entire house. For the majority of us, the kitchen is the most used room in the house. We reportedly spend 12% of our lives in the kitchen, which is almost around 2.8 hours a day, whether we may be cooking or socialising. With this being said, we need to ensure the kitchen is well looked after. It’s been said that kitchen upgrades can increase the value of your home significantly. However, this usually comes at a hefty price tag. A complete kitchen makeover is a costly, timely and strenuous task but there are ways to renovate your kitchen without it becoming an inconvenience to your family.

Let’s start by exploring the idea of investing in acrylic kitchen splashbacks by Simply Plastics. Contemporary acrylic kitchen splashbacks are an ideal alternative to both glass and tiling. They are also a cheaper alternative too. Plastic splashbacks give an almost instant, amazingly clean, glossy, modern and shiny look to any room or space.

Maintaining the splashbacks glossy shine is also so easy and only takes a bit of water and a soft cloth to wipe them over and remove any marks. These acrylic kitchen splashbacks are also extremely impact resistant. They are 10 times tougher than glass when it comes to withstanding impact.

Moving onto rejuvenating your tired cabinets. Replacing cabinets can be very pricey so if your cabinets aren’t too old and aren’t in too much of a bad state, it’s time to add a fresh paint of coat or a dark wood stain. This simple task can easily update your cabinets and, a fresh coat of a white high glass paint will lighten and open up the room.

Lastly, a great way to add character to your house it to add your own personal touch to it. Pull out and dust off them old photographs and hang them proudly on the prominent walls around your house. This will intrigue visitors and allow people to get an insight into your own personal life. Whether they are wedding photographs or pictures of your travels, they will add that personal touch to transform a house into a home.

With all that being said, don’t delay! Revamp your house now and do so at a price that suits you!
