St Vincent’s Hospice hosted our annual charity Golf Event at the beautiful Kilmacolm Golf Club, Kilmacolm on Friday 8th September 2017.
Teams of four enjoyed a breakfast roll with tea and coffee in the Club House on arrival before heading onto the course at 9.30am shotgun start.
We were delighted, once again, to have Arnold Clark as our main event sponsor and also our Hole in One sponsor. One lucky golfer had the chance to win a brand new car if they managed a hole in one on the second tee, many came close but nobody managed the golden shot! We also had Longest/Straightest and nearest the pin competitions kindly sponsored by Gordon Leslie Group.
After play, the teams enjoyed lunch and catch up on the scores of other competitors to see who would be taking home the St Vincent’s Hospice Golf Trophy. The eventual winners and a big congratulations go to Team Boyd insurance who finished with an impressive stableford score of 86 and were delighted with their prizes. The runners up were Ralston B (Gleniffer Estates) and Charlies Angels (CPMS) respectively with a close fought 84.
