Progress on gender pay gap for Renfrewshire Council
June 11, 2025Quality Radio had an award celebration this week at The Wynd Centre, Paisley for members of the licensed community radio service for Paisley and Renfrewshire.
Hugh Lindsay from Renfrew, received a Recognition Award for his work producing the Hospital Request Show for the The Royal Alexandra Hospital Paisley on Quality Radio 107.5 FM.
Quality Radio Trustee Norman Ross presented Hugh with a Recognition Award from the National Hospital Broadcasting Association during Volunteers Week 2025 for his outstanding contribution and service.
Norman commented: “Hugh deserves this award as he demonstrates awareness and engagement with the audience with passion, energy and personality when visiting the RAH Paisley.”
Hugh presents and produces a programme of song requests, chat, news and messages from and to patients at the Royal Alexandra Hospital Paisley, and to loved ones at home every Sunday at 3.00pm. The programme is broadcast on 107.5 FM across Paisley and Renfrewshire and DAB radio across Glasgow city plus online and on smart-speaker and Listen Anytime via the website at qualityradio.uk
