Keeping date nights fun and fresh after you have been with your partner for a significant period of time can be a challenge- but with a bit of planning and preparation, you can easily mix things up and plan something magical and memorable for your anniversary. Here are our following ideas on how to create an anniversary you will remember for years to come.

Explore a new city

Why not plan a trip and go explore a new city, whether that be somewhere local to you, or in a different country. Going away with each other even just for one night can help improve your relationship, and spend quality time together alone exploring a different place. You never know – you may find the perfect city you want to move to together.

Chill out at a spa

Why not head to a highly rated spa in your area, for an afternoon or evening of pure relaxation, peace, and quiet. This is a great way to unwind and chill out with your favourite person, and spend some quality time together.  After this, you could head home and pick up a takeaway on your way, and spend a night watching an iconic movie such as The Notebook, enjoying each other’s company with a tasty box of chocolates. You could even treat yourself to a lie in the next morning!

Go watch a comedy show

With many venues now hosting their own comedy nights across the county, why not head to an event and have a few drinks with your partner. You could make a whole evening out of it, by making sure you head to a nice restaurant first to treat each other and line your stomachs for an evening of drinking. Laughing alongside each other is a great way to ease stress and put you both in better spirits.

Go to an amusement park

Why not harness your inner child and head off to an amusement park for the day? You can bond by twisting and turning on all the different rollercoasters, or shooting down a water log flume. Not only is this a great day out for thrill seekers, but you could also make sure to time it on a sunny day to catch some extra rays aswell. You could always make this an anniversary tradition, and go back to the same park or try a new park each year.
