Shoppers can have a ball and win prizes

SHOPPERS can have a ball at intu Braehead and they might even be one of the lucky winners of  £2000 worth of gift cards at the same time.

A Family Fun Weekend is being held in the shopping centre on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22, between 11am and 6pm, with the big attraction being a giant ball pool filled with thousands of plastic balls.

Everyone will get five minutes to rummage around inside the ball pit for free, looking for the special prize balls painted with the famous intu bird logo.

And if they find one of the special balls, they’ll win an intu Gift Card worth anything from £5 to £500 and even some special retailer prizes.

There will also be free face painting, arts and crafts and members of the intu Braehead customer services team will be spreading joy around the centre by giving away treats.

Marketing manager at intu Braehead, David Lyon said: “We just love to give our shoppers a great time when they come to the centre and we’re doing something extra special this weekend.

“There’s no doubt the whole family will have plenty of fun delving into the giant ball pit looking for those special prize balls.”
