The awards are organised by Renfrewshire Youth Voice and supported by Renfrewshire Council’s Youth Services.
Isla Grimes, Chairperson of Renfrewshire Youth Voice said: “The PAY Awards are integral to Renfrewshire Youth Voice and embody everything the group stands for.
“Young people are often misjudged or portrayed in a negative light so the awards offer a chance for the young people of Renfrewshire to celebrate each other and be recognised for their hard work and achievements which otherwise may go unnoticed.”
The deadline to nominate has been extended until 5pm on Wednesday 23 October, with the awards celebration due to be held at the Normandy Hotel on Thursday 7 November.
Renfrewshire Council’s Young Person’s Champion, Councillor Bruce MacFarlane said: “Young people are the future of Renfrewshire and it’s important we continue to celebrate their achievements and community contributions. If you know a young person who deserves to be recognised, please nominate them for a PAY Award.”
