Glasgow band Them and Us are playing The Bungalow for the first time tomorrow night. The band have a fantastic set of iconic songs celebrating the music of Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac played across 2 sets throughout the evening. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm.
Stand-up comedy at The Bungalow is back on Sunday as Bungalaff7 gets underway with a whole load of talented comedians who are Kirsty Lynch, Mikey Motion, Kat Connelly, Peter Bell, Roger Gunn, Brian Mooney and Jamie Kirk. The night is hosted by Richie McMahon and the headline act is Gary Little.
The Bungalow Club continues Wednesday from 2pm for more music and variety, Free Entry. The Bungalow have Deltamanic, Chloe Mick and Lauren Kelly playing at their Introducing Night on Thursday. Doors: 7pm Tickets: £5/3 students.
Tonight at Rocknrollas is Neville Staple, the Legendary front man of The Specials, Fun Boy Three and Special Beat and his top class band. Also known as The Original Rude Boy, Neville celebrates 40 years of his super music career, and of the beginning of the 2-Tone movement. Neville Staple is credited with changing the face of popular music not only once but twice. His UK and International career in the music industry, is well documented and started out from the early days with Ray King, Pete Waterman (OBE), The Coventry Automatics and his Jah Baddis Sound System, before taking to the stage as a frontman of The Specials and performing at the famous tour with ‘The Clash’ and Bernie Rhodes. He has performed, written, or produced, highly acclaimed, and hit albums and singles, He is celebrated as a living legend. Check venue for times.
Rocknrollas have a band from the English East Midlands paying tomorrow night. Ever since their debut single1987s dark and sultry “When The Hoodoo Comes” Diesel Park West have pleased and confounded their fans and critics by being familiar and wilfully unpredictable in equal measure. Now ten albums in with a very classy back catalogue. To encourage people to come along Rocknrollas is running a 2 for 1 deal. Doors will be 8pm for this gig and you can get tickets on entry.
Rocknrollas kicks off their first Jazz Afternoon on Sunday. It is the start of regular Jazz/Swing afternoons. There is plenty of room to move about the floor and do a bit of dancing. On offer is a sharing table of grazing food included in the ticket price. The entertainment is local group Leana Zaccarini and The Moonlighters. Tickets on the door from 1pm.
The Old Swan Moneypenny tomorrow at 4pm Northern Soul Sunday from 4pm. Clyde start at 6pm on Monday, Lee James will be on stage on Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm both days, Duncan McLellan is in his usual slot on Wednesday from 4pm.
The Cave have changed their stage times slightly and things kick off at the earlier time of 5pm on Saturdays. Starting in the new time slot tomorrow is Canyon at 5pm followed by Sacred Villains at 8pm. Sunday sees the return of the legendary Jim Keilt Blues Jam from 6pm.
The Keg have full programme of live music at the Food and Drink Festival in their beer tent tomorrow and Saturday and after both nights the music continues at The Keg, tonight at 10pm and tomorrow at 9pm.
There will be live music as always at Kennedy’s from 3pm on Sunday then over at The Anchor from 4.30pm it is Sideshow. Plenty music going on at The Paisley Food and Drink Festival today and tomorrow – Check it out on line.
