Reid is one of the most experienced coaches in the NFL. With two Super Bowl rings to his name, he’ll know better than most how to get the best out of his side, but is aware of the threat posed to them by the Eagles, having coached there for 14 years.

“I’m happy for them,” he said. “I’m happy for the city. They’re passionate. They love soccer. I can’t wait for Kansas City and Philly to face each other. It’s going to be unbelievable. What a great Super Bowl it’s going to be.”

Nick Sirianni, the Eagles coached, has tried to emphasise the importance of a relaxed atmosphere heading to Arizona. Having not featured in the Super Bowl since their maiden victory in 2018, Sirianni doesn’t want to make too many changes to routine ahead of the big game.

“It’s gonna go back to the same thing we kinda started the playoffs with,” he said. “It is the next game and don’t try to make too much of it as far as – we understand the stakes, everybody understands the stakes – but our job is to literally look at the day of where we are right now and take the steps that we need to take today. That’s not gonna change.”As American Football fans gear up for the biggest event on their sporting calendar, the Super Bowl is back once again. After last year’s intense game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, this time it’s the AFC Champions Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s showpiece event.

When it comes to the NFL, there’s nothing like Super Bowl Sunday, and this year’s edition, Super Bowl LVII will be no exception. There is a reason for its popularity. The unpredictability of the sport’s biggest game, with so much on the line, can mean that an upset is always on the cards, and those casually viewing and others Superbowl betting will want to take note of everything that could happen come Sunday. With that in mind, we take a look at all the essential information heading into Super Bowl LVII.

Where does the game take place?

This year’s Super Bowl will be held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Home to the Cardinals, the arena can host up to 65,000 people and unlike last year, where the Rams played close to home in California, both sets of fans will have to travel significant distances to watch their sides battle it out for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The ride home can be a memorable one if victorious, not so much if you’re on the losing end.

What time is kick off?

Traditionally the Super Bowl kicks off in the evening over in America. After the national anthem has been sung the first quarter starts at 6:30pm local time and 4:30pm Eastern time, which is around 11:30pm in the United Kingdom. The game runs for an hour with four quarters, but when you factor in the half time show and provided no overtime is required, everything should finish around 3:00am.

Who are the favourites?

As far as odds go, both teams are pretty evenly contested, and there’s no David versus Goliath story here. With the same regular season records of 14 wins and 3 losses, the Chiefs and Eagles are the top seeded teams in their respective AFC and NFC Conferences. With this being their third Super Bowl appearance in the last four years, the Chiefs’ coach Andy Reid knows what it takes to get over the line, winning in 2020, but the Eagles have a great roster including quarterback Jalen Hurst, whose individual battle against Chiefs star player Patrick Mahomes is one of the key individual battles. You get the sense that whoever can control that area of the field will not only win the MVP award, but the Lombardi trophy itself.
