January 28, 20225 Benefits of LED Lighting in Your Home
January 28, 2022Tonight is a must for all Bowie fans. After a fantastic night last year at The Bungalow, Spiders on Mars are back for another night of classic Bowie hits from the early days to his last album. Spiders on Mars are the UK’s leading David Bowie tribute band and based in Glasgow. They are a full 6 piece with an array of glamorous costumes and a set list that gives you both Bowie classics and fan favourites. Spiders on Mars have a large fan base and looks like a busy night. Doors are at 7pm and tickets are £12.
The Bungalow Big Band Afternoons are back in full swing (excuse the pun) The Cosmopolitan Big Band are back for their first show at the Bungalow in 2022. Doors are at 1pm and the gig starts at 2pm.
Alan McEwan of The Bungalow said today “I am delighted to bring the UKs no1 tribute to James, Laid to play in Paisley tomorrow. Laid are fully endorsed by the band themselves as they sound just like the original and they will be playing all the hits and more” Alan explains “On Saturday 19th May 2018 Mike Hadfield, lead singer of Laid, had a VIP ticket to the sound check prior to the James gig at King George’s Hall Blackburn. During the question and answer session Mike grabbed the microphone and asked the band their thoughts of him setting up a tribute band to honour their music. After deliberating as a band, Saul spoke for them saying “Go for it!” and Tim Booth gave his blessing”
Laid have hit the tribute scene with lightning pace, receiving high praise everywhere they play. Bookings all over the country have come in thick and fast and the band have marked their territory as the leading tribute to one of the best bands to come out of Manchester. Look out for “Sit Down”, “Come Home”, “Ring the Bells”, “She’s a Star” and “Laid” they are not to be missed. Doors are at 7pm and tickets are £10.
The very popular Open Stage session is on at 3pm tomorrow. I went last week and saw all sorts of music from all ages and genres. The standard was incredible. It’s a great Sunday afternoon’s entertainment for free. I’d get in early if you want a seat.
