Since starting in October 2011, Project Oskar, the furniture recycling project run as one of KIBBLE’s Social Enterprises, has expanded in every direction. The turnover of the project has steadily increased as have the number of Young People who have gained work experience and training through the project. As the business has grown, new opportunities have arisen and we have branched out into several new ventures including;

Painting
Decorating
Cleaning
Tiling
Gardening

All these services are associated with property services and while we have been strongly supported by Renfrewshire Council, the project has also been marketing our services to the commercial sector and have successfully carried out out services for local solicitors, estate agents, landlords as well as Housing Associations and other Charities.

In recognition of all these new developments we decided to slightly alter our Project OsKar polo tops to advertise the services we now offer. The picture shows the “new look” OsKar shirts being proudly modelled by the newest recruits to Project OsKar – the boys started with us at the beginning of July and are already making great progress”
