Every summer, Paisley’s residents have the opportunity to take part in international festivals, thanks mostly to the fact that they are located right by Glasgow. The summer of 2023 won’t be any different, as everyone will be able to dance to their favourite music, at the festivals listed below.

June 3rd: The Riverside Festival
The Riverside Festival is making it big this year, as it celebrates its 10-year anniversary. In fact the list of the artists that will be playing during the two days would be too long to write entirely in this article. In them, you will find international artists such as Céleste. You most probably know her best by her two hit songs of a few years back: “Stop this Flame” and “Love is Back.” Other big names include DJ Big Miz and French artist Denis Sulta. Mall Gran, Palms Trax and Slam will also be there to entertain the large crowd expected in this two-day event. It is possible to buy tickets for one of the tow days or get a weekend pass, which is a great deal for music lovers who don’t want to miss anything happening on the various stages of the Riverside Festival 2023.
August 5th: Colourfest
This is one of the dates that party lovers always circle on their calendar, so they won’t miss it. Colourfest is a dance festival featuring hard dance and trance music. This festival has been going on for more than two decades, which means that you can expect to experience a unique day featuring a highly visual production. Those who are fans of this genre won’t have any difficulty finding what they are looking for on one of the five different stages animated by international artists and young local talents as well. The event will be held at Glasgow’s Braehead Arena.
September 23rd: PLTFRM FSTVL
If you want one last opportunity to get all the energy out of your body before summer ends, then you cannot miss the PLTFRM Festival. The music reaches a larger public than Colourfest, as it includes house, techno, acid house, hard dance and 90s music. This festival has also reached the age of 10 years old, which they will celebrate with special guests who took part in the festival in previous years. It includes the one and only Clara Cuve, DJ Heartstring, Daria Kolosova, Frazi.er, Julian Muller and Arman John, to name but a few of the great artists that will be performing. Best news of all is that the producers have managed to keep the ticket prices really low, which enables everyone to attend.
