Statement from Renfrewshire Council:

We’ve decided to postpone our recruitment event, which was due to be held tomorrow at Park Mains High School. If you have any online articles on the recruitment event, could you either remove them or update with the following statement.

A Renfrewshire Council spokesperson said:

“We have decided to postpone our Soft Facilities Management recruitment event, which was due to take place on Thursday 16 December at Park Mains High School. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Public safety remains our priority while we are still in a pandemic situation. We have worked closely with our health and safety team and Park Mains High School throughout and, in line with recent Covid-19 advice, we have decided that postponement is the best option.  

“Any applications submitted will still be processed and virtual interviews will take place as soon as possible. New applications are still being accepted through the MyJobScotland website (https://www.myjobscotland.gov.uk/councils/renfrewshire-council/jobs). A new date will be confirmed in due course.”
