A MAJOR exhibition of works by one of the world’s finest sculptors has opened at Paisley Museum.

Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to the historic venue to view ‘Alexander Stoddart: The Paisley Sculptor.’
Paisley artist Mr Stoddart – who is known as Sandy to his friends – is one of the most distinguished artists working in Scotland today and many of his works can be seen worldwide.
In 2008, he was appointed Sculptor in Ordinary to the Queen in Scotland and he is also a Freeman of Renfrewshire.
