Talented local Paisley Artist Caroline Gormley is working on a piece of artwork at the moment which is taking up a huge amount of time, and has been taking her away from the day to day hand to mouth bread and butter type thing and was wanting to let locals and those not so local know that she also does pet portraits and portraits of people and was wanting people to get in touch to order artwork that she would love to do …

Caroline says “I do oil paintings or drawings and each commission is priced on their requirements” …  Prices range from £150 upwards dependant on what the client is looking for and of course requirements.

Giraffe cash machine

Paisley Giraffe

Tuesday 18th September saw a very colourful character walking about town, pulling a giraffe patterned suitcase around with them they certainly brought some fun and colour to the town according to the photographs! Who was this person in a Giraffe Costume spotted throughout the town centre?

If it was someone you know then please get in touch but also please feel free to leave some comments below.

Is it the same person who laid the Sunflowers at Gilmour Street Station entrance a few weeks back? Who knows? Discuss please…

Pictures above show the giraffe walking down Gilmour Street from County Square, even stopping at the Dunfermline Building Society cash machine before taking a stroll through Dunn Square. Photographs by Jean-Marie Stewart of and passing motorist Wilma Lafferty.
