Fans that were disappointed in Tom Urie’s recently cancelled gig will be happy to know that Paisley’s very own multi talented popular act is back in The Bungalow tomorrow afternoon.

His one man show is absolutely top class. Tom’s ‘Piano Jukebox’ set is full of great songs that the audience love. That’s because you t he audience picks the songs and then he plays them. He’ll even have a go at songs he’s never heard of. The music, his stories and jokes make it a packed show that will leave you with a smile on your face and wanting more. Doors are at 1pm the show starts at 2pm and it is £5 on entry. 

NNE are delighted to announce that they have booked The Duran Duran Experience for The Bungalow tomorrow night. The Duran Duran Experience are the only UK based Duran Duran tribute band who are constantly evolving, in look, set numbers and performance to bring you the ultimate live Duran Duran tribute band show.

Being the first UK Duran Duran tribute band to include the lead single, Pressure Off, from Duran Duran’s 2015 album, Paper Gods into their set list and implementing constantly updating look and presentation to the live shows, The Duran Duran Experience never stand still. This will be another brilliant night of 80s nostalgia with the UK’s recognised top tribute to Duran Duran. Doors are at 7pm and it is £12 on the door.

Sundays Open Stage starts at 3pm on Sunday again this week. These afternoons are very popular.  You can get anything from a first timer to a seasoned pro followed by a harpist. Entry is free, doors are at 2pm and the action starts at 3pm.The Open Stage on 27 March is a fundraiser for Ukraine. There are still spaces available for solos, bands, singers or instrumentalists. Message The Bungalow if you want to take part. 

Tickets are going fast for one of the most popular young bands emerging into the music scene today. Esquire are hoping that they get a bit of local support as they have been going down a storm at The Old Swan. The youngsters cut their teeth there and they improve every time I see them.  Esquire will be launching their EP, Boy Racer. Tickets are going fast. They have sold more tickets than any young band that have played at The Bungalow but there are some left, you can pay £5 on entry and doors are 7pm. 

On Thursday The Bungalow are putting on a Music Quiz Night. Think you know everything there is to know about music? Think you know enough to win? Prove it. Winning group win a £50 bar tab/drink vouchers. Doors 7pm,

Graeme Kerr ‘The Loopmaster’ is playing The Keg tonight. The one man band shoe he performs is great entertainment and he starts at 9pm.

Tomorrow night The Keg welcome back Groin Day and before you get it wrong let me tell you they are a Greenday tribute band. Heather McKenzie of the Keg told me “After having to postpone their Hogmanay appearance due to restrictions we are pleased announce that they are finally playing for us” Starts at 9pm. 

The Cave have a fantastic weekend again with Blackout tomorrow at 6pm followed by Wreckless at 9pm and on Sunday Nightfly are on at 6pm. 

The Old Swan have Kirk Strachan playing tonight from 5pm. Tomorrow Fire In kick off at 4pm followed by Esquire then Emma Nailen from 8pm. Cammy Miller is in his usual slot at 4pm on Monday. Lee James will be performing his Rat Pack Show on Tuesday at 3pm. Pre Fab Four will be playing on Wednesday at 5pm then on Thursday Proposal will raise the roof with their ‘Power Trio’ at 5pm.

This week’s Open Mic sessions are: Abbey Bar with Dunky Hunter at 8pm, Jason Flood is hosting at Gantry from 9pm and Johnny Barr is at The Keg from 8.30pm.
