Nowadays, there are so many activities and fun things that it can be hard to pick one and settle on it. However, there are certainly some that stand out from the crowd, and these are the ones that you should try at least once.

Whether it is something you can play on the go or something you can make a night of, these are the most entertaining activities replacing businesses.

Paintball

Paintball has been a fan-favourite amongst young guys and team-builders for years now. It is exciting, high-speed, and while getting hit by a paintball does sting and will leave a bruise, there will be too much adrenaline to notice.

While you should be slightly fit and not be too scared of getting hit, paintball can be fun for most ages. Much younger people shouldn’t play, but it is a great activity to get the blood going and let off some steam.

Miniature Golf

If you want something a bit more relaxed but still very competitive, miniature golf is easily one of the best activities you can do. The courses and individual holes can be complex or straightforward, and it is a game for the whole family.

You also don’t need any golf experience to play; you don’t have to know how to swing a club. Miniature golf is an excellent activity for the family, friends, or as part of a date night with your loved one.

Bingo

Another relaxed but enjoyable activity is bingo. While bingo has been famously popular with older people, it is still a game that people of any age can enjoy. The excitement that comes with getting the numbers you need or shouting Bingo is hard to match.

Bingo is also very easy to play, and you just need to pay attention to what numbers are being called and mark them off. A lot of bingo halls also sell food and drinks, meaning it’s a brilliant way to spend a few hours.

Batting Cages

Batting cages are becoming more and more popular in the world. While baseball hasn’t spread too far apart from a few countries, smashing a ball into a cage is becoming popular everywhere.

Batting cages allow you to grab a bat and just hit some baseballs. They are thrown to you by a machine, and you can choose how hard or soft you want them thrown. Hitting a baseball is one of the hardest things you can do, but people of all abilities can give it a go, as having the ball thrown softer makes it much easier to hit.

Karaoke

Karaoke has been a popular past-time in Asia for years now, and more and more karaoke bars and clubs are springing up every day. It allows you to live out your rockstar dreams, even if you can’t sing.

What makes karaoke so much fun is that you don’t have to worry about being bad at singing because most people are. You can let loose and sing your favourite track before stepping off the stage and carrying on with your night.

Bowling

Bowling has been a brilliant activity for birthdays, date nights, office outings and everything in between for decades now. It isn’t hard to see why either; it is fun for all ages, can be easy or challenging to play, and has a competitive aspect.

Most bowling alleys allow you to raise the barricades down the side of the lane, meaning you never throw a gutter ball. This enables the game to be enjoyed by people of any skill level, and no one is severely outplayed.

Arcade

The arcade is something that has been dying out for a few years now. Most people remember going with their friends and playing some games of Pac Man or Street Fighter. However, some businesses are bringing them back.

If you look around, you will find many adult arcades now. You can have dinner, a few drinks, and play some games, air hockey, and pinball. These arcades are just as fun as you remember and are probably better now that you can play the games properly.

Axe Throwing

While this is undoubtedly an activity for adults only. Axe throwing is something that has exploded in popularity over the past few years. Simply put, you have a massive, wooden target that you throw axes at.

You are in a range-type environment, meaning there is little to no chance of your axe going off target. There are professionals to help you, and after a while, you will get the hang of it and become an axe-throwing master.

Driving Range

The humble driving range was once seen as a place where golf addicts go hit hundreds of balls for a few hours. Nowadays, with the help of technology, the driving range has gone from a practice area to something far more competitive.

Each flag has a target around it, with each ring having a score attached, and a computer keeps track of where the ball lands and how many points you score. While knowing how to swing a golf club will come in handy, this is still something for your family and friends to all enjoy.

Pottery Cafe’s

On the other side of the action spectrum are pottery cafes. This is where you can create something out of clay, get it baked, and then paint and decorate what you’ve created however you want.

Many of these cafes offer food and drinks, and you can take as long or as little time as you need to create your masterpiece. If you are artsy, or want to try being artsy, this is the place for you.

These are some of the best activities you can do. Whether you want something exciting that gets the adrenaline going, compete against friends, live out some nostalgia, or just pain the new cup you made. There is something for everything, of any change, to enjoy.
